Refurbishing Wood  Cutting Boards

Returning a wood cutting board to its original beauty after years of cut marks can be done easily by simply resanding the board. Start by sanding with 120 grit, then 180 grit, and finally, 240 grit sandpaper.
Wash the board as described above, let dry, and apply a generous amount of wood conditioning butter.  Let dry 30 minutes and buff off.  Your board is as good as new!

Protect and Rejuvenate:

To extend the life of your board, recondition and rejuvenate by applying wood conditioning butter  once a month, or twice a month if your board is used frequently.
Apply butter to your clean, dry cutting board.  Let dry 30 minutes and buff off. It is now protected and beautifully vibrant!

Charcuterie Boards with Epoxy Resin:

Epoxy Resin is food safe, meaning it is safe for food to be in contact with it. It is not recommended, however, to cut directly on the epoxy.  Care and maintenance for your charcuterie board  mimics that of the cutting board, except for sanding the epoxy. The sandpaper will damage and scratch the surface of the epoxy resin.

Please keep in mind, these products are hand crafted. The natural woods may have small blemishes and tend to darken with age.
